Code of Conduct

All participants and volunteers must follow the Code of Conduct of Forbes College and Codefest along with maintaining proper student decorum at all times.

• Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the college premises. Anyone found using or possessing them may be removed from the event and campus.
• To maintain the safety and privacy of female participants and volunteers, only individuals whose legal identification identifies them as she/her (female) are permitted to enter Building A (Administration Building).
• The judges' decisions are final and are not subject to interference by the organizing committee or Forbes College administration.
• Any complaints or disputes must first be reported to the PR Lead of CFC Chitwan.
• Photos and videos will be captured during the event for promotional purposes and may be published on the official Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages of Forbes College and the organizers.
• After registration, participants may not leave the college premises before the event concludes without prior authorization from the organizing committee.
• Everyone is responsible for protecting the college's physical infrastructure. Anyone who intentionally damages college property will be liable for the full repair or replacement cost.
• Medical emergencies must be reported immediately to the medical team. Participants should disclose any serious allergies or medical conditions during registration or as early as possible.
• A help desk will be available throughout the event for assistance and general inquiries.
• Respect for every individual's privacy, dignity, and well-being is mandatory. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or physical violence will not be tolerated.
• Forbes College reserves the right to remove or temporarily detain any participant or volunteer who poses a threat to the safety or security of others until the appropriate authorities or guardians are informed, in accordance with applicable law and institutional policy.
• Follow instructions issued by event volunteers, organizers, security personnel, and college administration.
• Keep your valuables secure. The organizers are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings.
• Emergency exits and safety equipment must not be blocked or misused.
• One must accept the code of conduct by entering/registering at the hackathon registration desk.
